Selection is based upon the following criteria: Social Work major with overall academic achievement as well as performance in the Social Work major. Junior or senior at the time of the award, with a minimum of one semester remaining. Minimum of 3.2 GPA. Demonstrate interpersonal skills and interpersonal adjustment. Adherence to the NASW Code of Ethics. Leadership in the Association of Student Social Workers and Alpha Delta Mu.

Application forms are available from the Department of Social Work.

Selection will be made by the Social Work Department’s Scholarship Committee.

Notification will be made by the Social Work Department. The Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office

The recipient will be honored at the University’s Honors Banquet. A thank you note should be sent to Dr. Walter Klein in care of the UW-EC Foundation Office.
