AMOUNT: $1,500 Available: Annually ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Drama major or minor of sophomore standing or higher who is a full-time student and preferably a candidate in Secondary Education who expects to teach in the field.APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Submit a letter of application to the Department of Music and Theatre Arts. Letters should include: grade point average, achievements in theatre, and professional interests and goals.APPLICATION DEADLINE: Spring, as determined by the Department of Music and Theatre Arts.SELECTION PROCEDURE: The Theatre faculty reviews the letters of application and then they vote for outstanding candidates. Candidates are rated by classroom and theatre production achievement as well as lifetime goals.SELECTION DEADLINE: June 1, prior to the academic year NOTIFICATION: The Department of Music and Theatre Arts will send official notification to all nominees. The Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.SPECIAL NOTES: Recipients are requested to verify their acceptance of this grant by sending a thank-you note to the Kjer Family addressed to Ann Glock in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, S-214. |
