AMOUNT: Variable: Total amount $7,800 AVAILABLE: Variable ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Students enrolling in Study Abroad Programs offered by the Center for International Education or UW-Eau Claire departments will be considered for grants based upon financial need, scholarship, letter of reason and faculty recommendations.APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Secure an application from the Center for International Education Office in Schofield Hall. Note the requirement for a letter and faculty recommendations.APPLICATION DEADLINE: October 15 for spring; March 15 for summer/fall/academic year.SELECTION PROCEDURE: The UW-Eau Claire Study Abroad Grant Committee reviews applications and references and recommends recipients and award level to the Director of the Center for International Education.SELECTION DEADLINE: November 15 for spring; April 15 for summer/fall/academic year.NOTIFICATION: The recipients are notified by letter of their awards. The CIE Director will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.SPECIAL NOTES: The recipient should send a thank-you note to the Center for International Education. |
