Foundation Scholarships

Hench, Esther Sanford & Lee Journalism

For a continuing junior or senior Journalism, Print Journalism, Broadcast Journalism, or Mass Communication- Advertising major who exhibits scholarship and/or potential in journalism and/or advertising. Financial need is required.

The Department of Communication and Journalism Scholarship Committee will select the recipient.

The Department of Communication and Journalism will send notification to the recipient and complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.

A letter of gratitude addressed to Mr. Brian Hench, grandson of Lee and Esther Sanford Hench, should be submitted directly to the Department of Communication and Journalism program assistant. The winner of this award is expected to attend the Department of Communication and Journalism Student Excellence held the last day of spring classes.
