Foundation Scholarships

Hench, Esther Sanford & Lee Journalism

For continuing junior or senior advertising, broadcast or print majors who exhibit scholarship or potential balanced by financial need.

Application forms are available in the Communication and Journalism Department Office.

The Department of Communication and Journalism Scholarship Committee will select the recipients based on scholastic performance and commitment to the journalism profession.

The recipient will be sent a notification letter from the Department of Communication and Journalism Chair. The Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” for each recipient to the Financial Aid Office.

A letter of gratitude addressed to Mr. and Mrs. R. I. Hench should be submitted directly to the Department of Communication and Journalism program assistant. The winner of this award is expected to attend the Department of Communication and Journalism Student Excellence
