Foundation Scholarships

Hench, Esther Sanford & Lee Journalism

For continuing junior or senior advertising, broadcast or print majors who exhibit scholarship or potential balanced by financial need.

Application forms are available in the Department of Communication and Journalism Office, HHH 152, or at www.uwec.edu/cj.

The Department of Communication and Journalism Scholarship Committee will select the recipient.

The Department of Communication and Journalism will send notification to the recipient and complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.

A letter of gratitude addressed to Mr. Brian Hench, grandson of Lee and Esther Sanford Hench, should be submitted directly to the Department of Communication and Journalism program assistant. The winner of this award is expected to attend the Department of Communication and Journalism Student Excellence held the last day of spring classes.
