Haas, Leonard & Dorellen Study Abroad


AMOUNT: Total of $2,500 awarded.
AVAILABLE: Annually
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
One semester study abroad experience with a UW-Eau Claire program prior to application. High academic achievement. Continuing full-time student status at UW-Eau Claire. Availability to make public presentations based on a study- abroad experience.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Secure an application from the Center for International Education in Schofield Hall.
APPLICATION DEADLINE:
June 1. If June 1 falls on a weekend, the Application Deadline is the first Monday proceeding June 1.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Selection shall be conducted by a committee composed of staff from the Center for International Education and faculty involved in international activities on campus.
SELECTION DEADLINE:
Mid-May
NOTIFICATION:
Notification will be sent by CIE to the recipient by letter. The CIE Director will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.
SPECIAL NOTES:
A thank you note should be sent to Karen Alexander, c/o the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office.
