Foundation Scholarships

Grimm, Gretchen Art Education

Recipients must be declared, and accepted, art education majors at UW-EC of junior or senior status who have shown scholastic achievement. Successful recipients must also have financial need and show promise of excellence in teaching art in public or private schools.

Students should request an application form in the Art Department Office and submit the completed form to the Art Department Office.

In March. Deadline announced by the department in late February or early March.

The Department of Art and Design Scholarship Committee will review the applications and select the recipient(s).

The Scholarship Committee selects the recipient(s) sometime between the application deadline and the annual juried student art show.

The recipient(s) will be announced at the annual juried student art show in the Foster Gallery. A “Scholarship Award Form” will be forwarded to the Financial Aid office.

The recipients should send a thank-you letter to Jack and Julie Grimm in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, S-214.
