Gerberich, John & Mary Public Health


AMOUNT: 3 @ $500
AVAILABLE: Annually
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Candidates must be of junior or senior standing and accepted for an internship in Environmental and Public Health. Candidates must have exhibited a strong academic standard of scholarship and performance. Financial need is to be considered but is not necessarily a basis for selection.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
An email will be sent to all declared majors indicating applications are being accepted and will include a deadline date for applications with a link to the scholarship site http://www.uwec.edu/ph/scholarships.htm.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Determined by ENPH
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Scholarship committees shall be convened by the Department Chair. The funds shall be available for those students who are entering internships or practicum. Recipients shall be selected from the ENPH undergraduate degree program on a revolving basis. The committees shall be made up of the tenured faculty of the Department.
SELECTION DEADLINE:
Determined by ENPH
NOTIFICATION:
Notification shall be made by the department chair of ENPH. The chairs will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.
SPECIAL NOTES:
Only income generated from the investment of the principal fund shall be awarded annually. Recipients should send a thank-you to Mary Dale, John Gerberich, Jr. and Anne M. Waddington, the children of John and Mary Gerberich, in care of the UW-EC Foundation.
