Foundation Scholarships

Fults, Eleanor Eddis & Theodore R. Memorial

The student: must be an undergraduate elementary education major and must have completed at least one year of coursework at UW-Eau Claire; must have illustrated significant academic quality and significant promise for the teaching profession; may be considered for renewal of the scholarship. The student with financial need will be considered but need is not the determining factor.

Qualifying students will receive an email in December with scholarship application information. Also, visit the webpage www.uwec.edu/coehs/forms/index.htm and go to Teacher Education Scholarships. Complete the form and submit it to the Education Scholarship Committee. Ask two members of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction faculty, who are familiar with your achievements at the University, to submit letters of recommendation to the Scholarship Committee.

Mid-February. Visit the webpage www.uwec.edu/coehs/forms/index.htm and go to Teacher Education Scholarships. Exact deadline will be in Scholarship Applications Directions.

Selection will be based on the criteria above.

By the College Scholarship Committee by letter. The Associate Dean will also complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.

The recipient should send a thank-you letter to Robert and Constance Matson and Jan and Kathryn Ver Hagen, in care of the UW-EC Foundation Office.
