Scholarship applicants must be of either junior or senior standing and be enrolled in the Comprehensive BA/BS or BFA programs. The student's cumulative GPA must be 3.5 or higher within the art major course work. Outstanding ability, discipline and dedication through performance should demonstrate a serious interest in art.

Application forms are available in the Department of Art Office. Students should submit an application form to the Art Department Office along with a brief statement (between 200-300 words) of his/her philosophy of aesthetic goals and objectives.

In March. Deadline announced by the department in late February or early March.

The Department of Art and Design Scholarship Committee will review the applications and select the recipient(s).

The Scholarship Committee selects the recipient(s) sometime between the application deadline and the annual juried student art show.

The recipient(s) will be announced at the annual juried student art show in the Foster Gallery. A “Scholarship Award Form” will be forwarded to the Financial Aid office.
