Foundation Scholarships

Environmental Public Health (ENPH)

The student must be a declared Environmental and Public Health major for at least one year with one year remaining in school. To qualify for the award, a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is necessary. Applicants must provide two letters of recommendation from outside the department. Applicants must provide an essay on the student's reason for applying for the award, goals and special contributions that he/she has made in environmental health and activities in the major.

An email will be sent to all declared majors in February when the scholarship application from is ready and available. The email will include the path to the Online Application form. The form must be filled out and submitted online AND a hard copy must be printed off and submitted to the Dean’s Assistant office, Nursing 101 by March 3. Transcripts are required.

A selection committee will review applications and select one nominee.

To be determined by the Department of Environmental and Public Health.

Notification will be made by the selection committee by letter. The committee will also complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office. The name will also be posted on the departmental bulletin and in the department newsletter.

The scholarship is selected and paid in the spring per the Department of Environmental and Public Health.
