Foundation Scholarships

Photography major (BFA, photography emphasis) with junior or senior standing, with financial need, may apply. The applicant's portfolio is to be judged by the Department of Art and Design Scholarship Committee. Grades are not to be a primary factor.

Application forms may be obtained from the Art Office.

In March. Deadline announced by the department in late February or early March.

The Department of Art and Design Scholarship Committee will review the applications and select the recipient(s).

The Scholarship Committee selects the recipient(s) sometime between the application deadline and the annual juried student art show.

The recipient(s) will be announced at the annual juried student art show in the Foster Gallery. A “Scholarship Award Form” will be forwarded to the Financial Aid office.

A thank-you note from the student award recipient should be mailed to Richard C. Danen, Patrick’s brother, in care of the Foundation Office, UW-Eau Claire.
