Foundation Scholarships

Math Meet

High School students participating in the annual Math Meet sponsored by the UW-Eau Claire Department of Mathematics are eligible for scholarships as noted below. Students must attend UW-Eau Claire and their scholarship awards must be used for tuition no later than the academic year immediately following graduation from high school.

No application is necessary. Based on on-site Mathematics Competition.

First, second, third and fourth place winners of all three divisions.

The Chair of the Department of Mathematics will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” for each recipient to the Financial Aid office before the beginning of the academic year that the recipients will attend UW-Eau Claire so that the award payment can be processed.

The Math Meet Fund also pays for student registration costs, t-shirts for participants, food, trophies, printing costs, postage and other expenditures associated with holding the Math Meet.
