Foundation Scholarships

Conrow Family Memorial

Awarded to an outstanding drama student attending UW-Eau Claire. Student with a drama major or minor and of sophomore standing or higher may apply.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Submit a letter of application to the Department of Music and Theatre Arts. Letters should include achievement in theatre and professional interests and goals.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

Spring, as determined by the Department of Music and Theatre Arts.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

The Theatre faculty reviews the letters of application and then they vote for outstanding candidates. Candidates are rated for classroom and theatre production achievement as well as lifetime goals.

SELECTION DEADLINE: June 1 prior to each academic year.

NOTIFICATION:

The Department of Music and Theatre Arts will send official notification to the recipient. The Department Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.

SPECIAL NOTES:

The recipient should send a thank-you note to James Conrow, son of Joyce Conrow the creator of the fund, in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office. In the event that there is not a qualified recipient for the scholarship, no award will be given and the Department Chair will send written notice to the Foundation Office.
