Cargill Information Systems Fund

Be a full-time IS major when applying and receiving; have UWEC cumulative GPA of at least 3.25; complete at least 90 credits by the end of the receiving semester, and return as full-time IS major the following semester who has been admitted to the COB. Other considerations include past academic record, work experience, extracurricular activities, and future plans. Financial need is not a factor.

Submit letter of application, a current unofficial UWEC transcript, and a biographical essay (500-1500 words) discussing honors received, work experience, and extracurricular activities; in each section emphasize your leadership and character. Email application materials to the IS Scholarship Committee chair (ISscholarships@UWEC.edu).

The IS Scholarship Committee will make the selection.

Notification will be sent to recipients by the IS Scholarship Committee Chair, who will also complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.

Each scholarship recipient writes a "thank you" letter to the awarding company.
