Blackorby, Edward B. History

The Edward B. Blackorby Book Award for academic excellence in history is awarded to an outstanding history major based on the following criteria: overall grade point average; history grade point average; performance in the required historiography courses and recommendations from history faculty.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

All History majors are automatically considered for this award.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 16

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

A selection committee from the History Department reviews students’ performance based on the criteria as indicated above.

Recipient should write letter of thanks and forward to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, S-214.
