Foundation Scholarships

Alumni - Hibbard, Richard E. and Jane

Junior or senior with characteristics of service to the university, scholarship, character, and a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative GPA. Recipient is eligible to receive this award only one time.

An announcement of the scholarship will appear on MyBlugold in February. The application requests informational data on the applicant, activities and honors, and two personal references are recommended, one of which shall be from a UW-Eau Claire faculty member. The application makes the applicant eligible for either the Leonard and Dorellen Haas Alumni Scholarship or the Richard and Jane Hibbard Scholarship.

Selected by the Board of Director’s Recognition Committee. Applications are reviewed on the basis of scholarship and service that the applicant may have rendered (university, church, and community).

The Alumni Association will send an award letter to the recipient and a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.

The recipient should send a thank-you note to Sarah Hibbard Hanson and Elizabeth Isaacson, daughters of the Hibbards, in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, S-214.
