Foundation Scholarships

Alumni - Hibbard, Richard E. and Jane

Junior or senior with characteristics of service to the university, scholarship, character, and a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

An announcement of the scholarship appears in The Spectator--the last issue in February and the following two issues. The application requests informational data on the applicant, activities and honors, and two personal references of which one shall be a UW-Eau Claire faculty member. The application makes the applicant eligible for either the Richard E. Hibbard Alumni Scholarship or for one of the other Alumni Scholarships.

Selected by the five-member Alumni Awards and Scholarships Committee. Applications are reviewed on the basis of scholarship and service that the applicant may have rendered (university, church, and community).

The Alumni Association will send an award letter to the recipient and a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.

The recipient should send a thank-you note to Sarah Hibbard Hanson and Elizabeth Isaacson, daughters of the Hibbards, in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, S-214.
