Foundation Scholarships

Alumni - Haas, Leonard

Junior or senior with characteristics of service to the university, scholarship, character, and a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative grade point average. Recipient is eligible to receive this award only one time.

An announcement of the scholarship will appear on MyBlugold in February. The application requests informational data on the applicant, activities and honors, and two personal references are recommended, one of which shall be from a UW-Eau Claire faculty member. The application makes the applicant eligible for either the Leonard and Dorellen Haas Alumni Scholarship or the Richard and Jane Hibbard Scholarship.

Selected by the Alumni Association Board of Director’s Recognition Committee. Applications are reviewed on the basis of scholarship and service that the applicant may have rendered (university, church, and community).

The Alumni Association will send the recipient an award letter and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.
