Foundation Scholarships

Alumni - Haas, Leonard

Junior or senior with characteristics of service to the university, scholarship, character, and a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative grade point average.

An announcement of the scholarship appears in The Spectator -- the last issue in February and the following two issues. The application requests informational data on the applicant, activities and honors, and two personal references of which one shall be a UW-Eau Claire faculty member. The application makes the applicant eligible for either the Leonard Haas Alumni Scholarship or for one of the other Alumni Scholarships.

Selected by the five-member Alumni Awards and Scholarships Committee. Applications are reviewed on the basis of scholarship and service that the applicant may have rendered (university, church, and community).

The Alumni Association will send the recipient an award letter and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.
