ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
The purpose of the scholarship will be to provide financial incentives to student leaders who are African- American, American Indian, Asian or Hispanic who have shown leadership ability and involvement at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Applicants for this scholarship must be full-time students in good academic standing, sophomore standing or above. It is preferred that the recipients be Native Americans and/or students with an interest in Music pursuing a Bachelor's degree. Significant involvement will be measured by the student's participation in overall campus activities as well as involvement in Office of Multicultural Affairs activities and programs.

Applicants should contact the Office of Multicultural Affairs for further information.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 1
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The director of the Office of Multicultural Affairs will select the award recipient.
SELECTION DEADLINE: April 3
NOTIFICATION:
The director of the Office of Multicultural Affairs will send a letter of notification to the recipient. The Director will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.
SPECIAL NOTES:
It is required that the recipient sends a letter of appreciation to William and Muriel Boyken in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, S-214.
