AMOUNT: $1,500.00 AVAILABLE: Annually ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: The Helen B. Andersen Memorial Scholarship is open to female UW-Eau Claire students majoring in business administration, economics, computer science or information systems. The successful applicant will illustrate her potential for success in her chosen field of study. Student should have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher and show financial need, as determined by the UW-EC Financial Aid Office. Preference shall also be given to students from a Wisconsin agricultural background. The scholarship may be awarded on a renewal basis, if a 3.25 GPA is maintained for each academic year at UW-EC up to a maximum of four academic years.APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Contact the Dean’s Office in the College of Business for further application information.APPLICATION DEADLINE: SELECTION PROCEDURE: The recipient will be selected based upon the criteria stated above.SELECTION DEADLINE: As determined by the College of Business.NOTIFICATION: By letter by the College of Business. The Dean will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.SPECIAL NOTES: The scholarship recipient should send a thank-you letter to Roger A. Anderson, son of Helen B. Andersen, in care of the UW-EC Foundation Office. |
