Foundation Scholarships

American Assoc. of University Women-Eau Claire

BRANCH SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: $2,500 total awards, $500 minimum individual

award.

Scholarships are available each year to returning women students at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Applicants must be age 23 or older, currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at UWEC and in good academic standing.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Application forms are available on line at www.uwec.edu/advising/nss/scholar.htm or in the Nontraditional Student Services Office (NSS).

APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 1

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

The recipients(s) will be determined by the AAUW Eau Claire Branch Scholarship Committee.

SELECTION DEADLINE: May Committee meeting

NOTIFICATION:

The NSS adviser will notify recipients by letter and complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.

SPECIAL NOTES:

Recipients will be asked to contact the AAUW Eau Claire Branch president to accept the award. Students will receive the award in the form of a tuition credit through the UW-Eau Claire Business Office.
