Foundation Scholarships

Wausau West UW-Eau Claire Faculty Alumni

One award at $500, to be received during the Spring Semester. Funding permitting, renewable for Fall Semester of sophomore year.

Annually

Applicants must be Wausau West High School seniors who are accepted for admission to UW-Eau Claire. Financial need is not required.

Applications will be available in the counseling office at Wausau West High School.

The UW-Eau Claire Alumni on staff at Wausau West High School will select the recipient. A Scholarship Award Form will be forwarded to Financial Aid, awarding this scholarship for the spring semester of the first academic year. Funding permitting, upon submitting a transcript to Wausau West showing a 3.0 cumulative grade point average or higher following the completed freshman year, a second award of $500 may be awarded for the first semester of the sophomore year.

Late April

The recipient will be announced at the Wausau West High School Scholarship Awards Ceremony.

This scholarship was conceived by several UW-Eau Claire alumni who are now staff members at Wausau West High School. This unique scholarship is one of only two at UW- Eau Claire created by the teachers in the high school where it will be awarded. The recipient should write a letter of thanks to the Wausau West High School scholarship creators, in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, S-214.
