Foundation Scholarships

Vander Sanden, Scott International Study

Applicants must be UW-Eau Claire students majoring in Finance, have demonstrated financial need, and accepted to the international study abroad program. If there is not a student majoring in Finance with demonstrated financial need who is accepted for study abroad, this scholarship could be awarded to any College of Business student with financial need who has been accepted to study abroad.

Secure an application from the Center for International Education.

October 15 for spring travel, March 15 for fall travel.

November 15 for spring travel, April 15 for fall travel.

The UW-Eau Claire Study Abroad Grant Committee reviews applications and references and recommends the recipient to the Director of the Center for International Education.

Notification will be sent by CIE to the recipient by letter. The CIE Director will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.

Scott Vander Sanden established this scholarship in 2009. Scott is a 1987 graduate of UW-Eau Claire, who majored in Finance. He is the President of AT&T Wisconsin. Scott is supporting this scholarship because he understands the value of a global learning experience as part of higher education. Recipient should write a letter of thanks and submit it to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, S-214.
