LeadingAge WI Health Care Scholarship

At the time of application, the student must be a declared pre-practicum undergraduate major in Health Care Administration who has demonstrated exceptional dedication to service in the health care field. To qualify for the award, a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is required.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Applicants must provide an essay on the student’s reason for applying for the award, goals, and special contributions that the student has made in Health Care Administration and activities in the major.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:

Due in March. Please check the Health Care Administration scholarship application.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

A selection committee will review applications and select one recipient.

SELECTION DEADLINE:

Prior to the CHAASE banquet.

NOTIFICATION:

Notification will be made by the selection committee by letter or email. The selection committee will submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office. The recipient’s name will be posted on the departmental bulletin board and included in the department newsletter.

SPECIAL NOTES:

Recipient should write a letter of thanks to the Wisconsin Association of Homes and Services for the Aging and forward it to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, S-214.
