Target Case Competition

12-13 Available; 13-14 PENDING

These awards will be made to students enrolled as IS majors or CS majors and participating in the Target Case Study Competition. Students will be judged on the following criteria: Content – quality of the students’ recommendations, extent of research and analysis, quality of objective definition, feasibility of execution and quality of data supporting recommendations; Oral Presentation – quality of students’ presentation skills, professionalism, visual aids and responses to the Q&A session; Creativity/Originality – overall creativity and originality of the case and how well did the student “think outside the box?”; and Overall Performance.

Students will be informed of the current year’s procedure by the IS department when Target Corporation announces the year’s Case competition.

The current year’s deadline will be given to applicants by the IS department when informed of the date by Target Corporation.

The winning presentations will be selected by Target team members.

This date will be given to students by the IS department when informed of the date by Target Corporation.

Students will be notified of their award by the Chair of the IS department.

Recipients must write a thank you note to Target Corporation and forward it to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, S-214.
