Foundation Scholarships

The scholarship award will be made to an outstanding graduating senior, with a minimum GPA of 3.0, with financial need from Holcombe or Arcadia High Schools who will be attending UW-Eau Claire the following fall. First preference will be given to UW-Eau Claire freshmen who are graduates from Arcadia High School and Holcombe High School with financial need. In odd-numbered years the scholarship will go to a freshman from Arcadia High School. In even-numbered years the scholarship will go to a freshman from Holcombe High School. If no freshman is eligible, then the award will go to a UW-Eau Claire sophomore or upperclassmen from the high school designated to have the award that year.

Contact the Guidance Counselor at Arcadia or Holcombe High Schools for application information. If an award will be made to a continuing student, Pat Montanye in the Financial Aid Office will be the reviewer and select the recipient.

Before the conclusion of spring semester

The Arcadia or Holcombe High School Guidance Counselor will send the recipient a notification letter prior to June 15. A copy of the award letter should be sent to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation and Financial Aid Office.

A thank-you note should be sent to David and Jeanette Suchla in care of the UW-EC Foundation, Schofield Hall 214, UW-Eau Claire.
