Foundation Scholarships

Sundet, Frances Memorial

The award is to be given to an outstanding student in nursing.

Application Forms: Students who are admitted to the nursing program at UW-Eau Claire will receive an email in late February/early March when the scholarship application is ready and available. The email will include the path to the online application forms. PART ONE is filled online and submitted electronically. PART TWO (the essay and activities form) is filled out online and printed off, signed and submitted to the Dean’s Assistant Office, Nursing 103, by the deadline. Only one essay can be submitted. The essay must address the eligibility criteria for each of the scholarships that they wish to apply for.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Second Monday in March

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

The Nursing and Health Sciences Scholarship Committee will select a recipient.

SELECTION DEADLINE: Prior to the Nursing banquet.

NOTIFICATION:

The Dean will send an award letter to the recipient and complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.

SPECIAL NOTES:

This scholarship fund was created by James and Carol Sundet in memory of his mother, Frances Sundet. A thank-you note should be sent to James and Carol Sundet in care of the UW- Eau Claire Foundation Office, S-214.
