Foundation Scholarships

St. Paul Travelers

$6,350 Total—-Up to five scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,000

Awarded to full-time UW-Eau Claire students majoring in Information Systems who has been admitted to the College of Business when applying and receiving the award. Recipients must be US citizens or have official authorization to study in the United States; have UW-Eau Claire cumulative GPA of at least 3.2; complete at least 60 credits by the end of the receiving semester, and return as full-time IS major the following semester. Special consideration shall be given to female students or those from multicultural backgrounds. Other considerations include past academic record, work experience, extra-curricular activities, and future plans. Financial need is not a factor.

Submit letter of application, a current unofficial UW-Eau Claire transcript, your current resume and a biographical essay (500-1500 words) discussing honors received, work experience and extracurricular activities: in each section emphasize your leadership and character. Except for the transcript, the application materials may be shared with the St. Paul Traveler’s Company. Email application to IS Scholarship Committee chair at ISscholarships@uwec.edu.

The IS Scholarship Committee will make the selection.

Official notification will be sent to recipients by the IS Scholarship Committee Chair. The Chair will also complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.
