Students participating in a UW-Eau Claire immersion experience will be considered for scholarships based upon financial need, scholarship, letter of reason and faculty recommendations.

Secure an application from the Dean of Students Office in Schofield Hall. Note the requirement for a letter and faculty recommendations.

The Dean of Students Office will notify recipient by letter, and complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.

Funding for these scholarships is made possible largely through collective efforts on behalf of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Board of Directors, as well as gifts from other donors. These scholarships are part of UW-Eau Claire’s Global Awareness Initiative whereby the university emphasizes an understanding of the larger world and cultures and circumstances different from one’s own are a critical part of a well-rounded education. The recipient should send a thank-you note to the Foundation Office, S- 214.
