ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
The Dr. Jack Pladziewicz Research Scholarship shall be awarded to an outstanding UW-Eau Claire undergraduate student who shows exceptional promise and has excelled in a collaborative research project with a chemistry department faculty member.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Students may apply for the scholarship by completing the Application for Chemistry Department Scholarships form. In addition, all applicants must submit a one-page summary that details the type of research in which they are engaged and how they will use their research experiences to further their careers.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The Scholarship Committee of the Chemistry Department based upon the stated criteria above will choose the recipient.
SELECTION DEADLINE:
By the conclusion of the spring semester.
NOTIFICATION:
The recipient will be sent a letter from the Chair of the Chemistry Department Scholarship Committee. The Chair will also complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.
SPECIAL NOTES:
The recipient should write a thank you letter to Dr. Michael and Randee Carney and forward to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, Schofield 214.
