Foundation Scholarships

Smith, Ken and Mary Single Parent

The Ken and Mary Smith Single Parent Scholarship is available for single parent students with financial need. A minimum 2.0 GPA is required for freshman entering out of high school. In the case of renewal for a previous recipient, an acceptable academic performance during the previous scholarship year(s) as determined by the scholarship selection person or committee, is required. The scholarship can be renewed four times by the same student, for a maximum of five total years.

The NSS adviser in consultation with the Financial Aid Office will select recipients.

The recipients will receive written notification from the Nontraditional Student Services Office. NSS will also submit a completed “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.
