ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
The Dr. Roger, Dixie and Amy Rasmussen Educational Scholarship is for seniors in the College of Education and Human Sciences who are practice teaching. The student must complete their practice teaching module during the year they receive the scholarship and have a minimum grade point of 3.00.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Applications are available through the College of Education and Human Sciences.
APPLICATION DEADLINE:
In March, prior to the academic year the award will be given.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Based on the COE’s review, the scholarship should be given to a deserving student who would benefit from financial assistance during the year they are scheduled to complete their practice teaching requirement for graduation.
SELECTION DEADLINE:
May of each year – prior to the academic year the student will be practice teaching.
NOTIFICATION:
The selected student will receive official notification from the College of Education. The Dean will send a completed “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office naming the recipient.
SPECIAL NOTES:
A thank you note should be sent to Roger Rasmussen in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, S-214. Mr. Rasmussen understands that students completing their practice teaching semester often undergo additional expenses and he wants this scholarship to assist someone the College of Education knows would benefit from this additional assistance.
