Foundation Scholarships

Reinke, Mike

One scholarship award is available to UW-Eau Claire students who are graduates of Wisconsin high schools and residents of Wisconsin. The recipient must be junior at the time of application and be a declared Economics major with financial need.

Students should pick up an application form in the Economics Department office. Return the completed application form, along with a typed, one-page essay (300- word maximum) that outlines the reasons why the student will benefit from the scholarship, to the Economics Department office.

The Department of Economics Scholarship Committee will select the award recipient based upon the criteria stated above.

A letter will be sent to the recipient from the Chair of the Scholarship Committee. The Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.

The Mike Reinke Scholarship was established as a memorial to Mike by his family and friends and Kraft & IDFA co- workers in his honor. A letter of appreciation should be sent to Nancy Reinke (Mike’s wife) and Steve Reinke (Mike’s brother) in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, Schofield 214.
