AMOUNT: No Award AVAILABLE: Contingent upon Funding ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Awarded annually to an undergraduate from a federally- recognized tribe who is pursuing study in the areas of the biological sciences, health professions or education at UW- Eau Claire.APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Application forms are available in the Multicultural Office.APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 15 SELECTION PROCEDURE: The Coordinator of the American Indian Studies, the Director of the Multicultural Office and three American Indian Alumni members, if available, will choose the recipient.SELECTION DEADLINE: Prior to April Pow-wow NOTIFICATION: The Coordinator of the American Indian Studies will notify the recipient by letter and complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office. The award will also be announced at the April Pow-wow. The award will be applied to the student’s account for the following academic year.SPECIAL NOTES: American Indian alumni of UW-Eau Claire support this scholarship. It is their interest to collectively build the principal to create an endowed scholarship. Letters of appreciation should be addressed to Odawa White in care of the UW-EC Foundation Office |
