Foundation Scholarships

3M Accounting Junior

The scholarship will be awarded to a full-time, resident sophomore or junior accounting major at UW-EC who has been accepted into the College of Business. The recipient must intend to work in the profession, preferably in industry, upon graduation. The student must have a GPA of 3.0 or above. The successful applicant for this award must have participated in college or community organizations and exhibited a potential for leadership as displayed by those activities. Diversified students are encouraged to apply for this award. Financial need is required.

Determined by Accounting & Finance Scholarship Committee.

The scholarship recipient will be selected by the Accounting and Finance Scholarship Committee. In the event of a tie, the award will be given to the student with the highest cumulative GPA at that time. The scholarship will not be divided.

In the spring, prior to the Honors Banquet.

The award will be announced prior to the annual University Honors Banquet. The Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.

The recipient should send a thank-you note to the 3M Foundation, in care of the Department of Accounting and Finance Department.
