Mr. Larson, who is known to legions of Viennese Ball attendees as “Der Kaiser,” is one of the most popular of Viennese Ball patrons because of his passion for the Viennese Ball and his steady attendance at the ball dressed as Kaiser Wilhelm. Mr. Larson also is well known as the gentleman with the roses – many lovely ladies attending the Viennese Ball have been greeted by “Der Kaiser” and received a red rose. Mr. Larson created the Noble Statesmen Scholarship in 2007 because of his great respect for the Singing Statesmen and their outstanding music. He has hosted the Singing Statesmen and other groups in concert in St. Paul and has been a long-time friend of the choral music program. Thank you notes addressed to Mr. Larson are expected of the recipients and should be sent to Mr. Larson in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, S-214. |
