AVAILABLE: Annually
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Applicants must be an incoming freshman majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering with a high school GPA of 3.50/4.00 or higher. Student must be ranked in the top 25% of high school class. Exception may be considered for home schooled students or those graduating from an exceptionally small sized class. Student must demonstrate a record of leadership in high school and community activities. The scholarship may be renewable if student makes satisfactory progress and performance in the Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering coursework. Student must re-apply to be considered for renewal.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Applications are available from the Computer Science Department.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Determined by the department
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The Department of Computer Science Scholarship Committee will select the recipient.
SELECTION DEADLINE: Determined by the department
NOTIFICATION:
The recipient will receive official notification from the Chair of the Department of Computer Science. The Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.
SPECIAL NOTES:
The recipient should send a thank-you note to Brad Kowalski, Marshfield Clinic, in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation in Schofield Hall room 214.
