Foundation Scholarships

Matson, Robert and Constance Fults Endowed

This is a merit/financial need based scholarship, which shall be awarded annually to an outstanding UW-Eau Claire biology major at the sophomore, junior or senior level who shows great promise to be successful in his/her chosen career field, intends to enter some field of medicine or education and demonstrates financial need. First preference will be given to students from Ladysmith and/or Northwestern Wisconsin and then the entire State of Wisconsin.

Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Department of Biology Scholarship Committee, which has faculty representation from the major sub disciplines of biology. Applications will be evaluated both in terms of their academic merit and their compatibility with award eligibility criteria.

Official notification will be sent to the recipient by the Chair of Biology. The Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.
