All applicants must have received a letter of acceptance into the graduate program in Communication Sciences and Disorders at UW-Eau Claire for the fall semester of the current year, and must have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.25 or greater.APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Application for this scholarship award will be by invitation to students who have been admitted into the graduate program in Communication Sciences and Disorders for the fall semester. Instructions to apply for this scholarship award will be mailed with your letter of acceptance to the CSD graduate program. Return your completed scholarship application to the CSD Graduate Coordinator by April 15. The letters of recommendation that accompanied your graduate school application will be used in combination with your scholarship application form.APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 15
Awarding of the scholarship will be determined based upon a combination of past accomplishments and strong undergraduate academic records. A committee of past CSD master's degree graduates from UW-Eau Claire will independently rank applications for this scholarship. In the event of a tie, committee members will be asked to rank the tied applications. The Scholarship Committee will submit its rankings to the CSD Graduate Coordinator.SELECTION DEADLINE: Late April

This scholarship was established in memory of Nancy McKinley, who was a 1974 graduate of UW-Eau Claire. She was founding owner of Thinking Publications, one of the largest publishing houses in the country specializing in books and materials for speech-language pathologists and other related professionals. She received the UW-Eau Claire President’s Award in 2001 as well as numerous state and national awards. Recipient should write a letter of thanks to Stacy Williams, President of SpeechPathology.com, in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, Schofield 214, with a copy to Linda Schreiber. This fund was originally established with the primary support of SpeechPathology.com. Recipient should forward the letter of thanks to the CSD Graduate Coordinator, who will in turn forward the letter on to the Foundation.
