These scholarships will be awarded to outstanding UW-Eau Claire students majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering who have sophomore or junior status at the time they receive the scholarship award. Recipients must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above and a demonstrated record of leadership within the Computer Science Department. At least one recipient must be female. Recipients must have an expressed interest in internship opportunities and a Computer Science career upon graduation. Financial need is not a requirement but will be a consideration in the case of equally qualified applicants.

The Department of Computer Science Scholarship Committee will select the recipient.

The recipient will receive official notification prior to June 1 from the Chair of the Department of Computer Science. The Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” for each recipient to the Financial Aid Office.

The recipient should write a letter of thanks to Northwestern Mutual in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, S-214.
