Foundation Scholarships

Kindred Health Care

At the time of application, the student must be a declared undergraduate major in Health Care Administration. To qualify for the award, a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is required. Students who have demonstrated volunteer service with activities associated with the Alzheimer's Association will be given preference.

Applicants must provide an essay on the student’s reason for applying for the award, goals, and special contributions that the student has made in Health Care Administration and activities in the major.

A selection committee will review applications and select two recipients.

Prior to the CHAASE banquet.

Notification will be made by the selection committee by letter or email. The selection committee will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office. The recipient’s name will be posted on the departmental bulletin board and included in the department newsletter.

Recipient must send a thank you letter to Kindred in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, Schofield 214.
