ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
This scholarship is available to UW-Eau Claire juniors or seniors who have been admitted to the College of Business. The recipient must have full-time student status, good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75, and demonstrate financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The recipient needs to have graduated from a high school in a community serviced by Citizens Community Federal. These communities are as follows: in Michigan (Lake Orion, Rochester Hills); in Minnesota (Brooklyn Park, Faribault, Hutchinson, Mankato, Oakdale, Oak Park Heights, Red Wing, or Winona)and in Wisconsin (Altoona, Appleton, Black River Falls, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Fond du Lac, Menomonie, Mondovi, Neenah, Oshkosh, Plover, Rice Lake, Shawano, Wisconsin Dells, or Wisconsin Rapids).
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Obtain an application form the College of Business Office.
APPLICATION DEADLINE:
As determined by the College of Business
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The College of Business Scholarship Committee selects the award recipient.
SELECTION DEADLINE:
Before the end of Spring Semester
NOTIFICATION:
The Assistant Dean will send a letter to the recipients. The Assistant Dean will also complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office for each recipient.
SPECIAL NOTES:
This scholarship was created in 2011 by Mr. Edward H. Schaefer, CEO and President of Citizens Community Federal, to help academically qualified students achieve their dream of obtaining a college education. Recipients should direct a letter of appreciation to Mr. Schaefer, care of Gretchen Hutterli, Chair of the Scholarship Committee, UW-Eau Claire College of Business, Schneider Hall 110.
