From a very early age she wanted to be a special education teacher. When she was 13, she became a volunteer at the State Institution in Madison. After graduating from UW Eau Claire, Mary Jo was a special education teacher for seven years in Loyal, Wisconsin and Littleton, Colorado. She is now an Investment Attorney for Allstate Insurance Company. With six children in her family, everyone who wanted a college education or an advanced degree had to work to pay for it. She understands how stressful it can be to work and study at the same time. She chose to support this scholarship in order to provide the opportunity for a student to spend more time participating in his or her college experience, studying, and having fun! Recipient should write a letter of thanks to Mary Jo Quinn and deliver it to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, S- 214. |
