Foundation Scholarships

Global Awareness - Wenzel, Dan and Martha

Students enrolling in Study Abroad Programs offered by the Center for International Education or UW-Eau Claire Departments will be considered for scholarships based upon financial need, scholarship, letter of reason and faculty recommendations. Recipients must be traveling outside of the United States.

An application is available online at the Center for International Education website at http://www.uwec.edu/cie/studyabroad/.

August 15 for winterim or spring programs. February 15 for summer programs. April 15 for fall/academic year programs.

The UW-Eau Claire Study Abroad Grant Committee reviews applications and recommends recipients and award level to the Director of the Center for International Education.

Mid-September for winterim/spring programs; Mid-March for summer programs; Mid-May for fall/academic year programs

Notification will be sent by CIE to the recipient by email. The CIE Director will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.

The recipient should send a thank-you note addressed to “Dear Dan and Martha Wenzel” to the Foundation Office, S- 214.
