Foundation Scholarships

Gunderson, Margaret Memorial Scholarship

Applicants must be majoring in teacher education (including graduate students). Applicants must be making satisfactory progress toward a degree in Education with a GPA of 3.25 or higher. Applicants may be full-time or part-time students.

Qualifying students will receive an email in December with scholarship application information. Also, visit the webpage www.uwec.edu/coehs/forms/index.htm and go to Teacher Education Scholarships. Complete the form and submit it to the Education Scholarship Committee. Ask two members of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction faculty, who are familiar with your achievements at the University, to submit letters of recommendation to the Scholarship Committee.

Selection will be based on the criteria above.

By letter. The Dean will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.

Scholarship was made possible through and estate gift from Margaret Gunderson, a 1973 UW-Eau Claire graduate and long-time teacher. She died in 2007.
