SPECIAL NOTES:
The John R. Foss Memorial Scholarship was established in 2009 with collective gifts received from friends and colleagues of John R. Foss, a 1977 graduate with a degree in psychology. From 1989-2007, he worked for Cleaver- Brooks, a manufacturing firm in Milwaukee. He had been regional vice president responsible for a $40 million territory, the largest market for Cleaver-Brooks. John died of a brain tumor on October 31, 2009. John’s colleagues and friends at Cleaver-Brooks held him in such high regard they wanted to establish the scholarship as a living tribute to John and the impact he had on each of them. The scholarship recipient is expected to send a letter of appreciation to the John R. Foss family in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, Schofield 214.
