Foundation Scholarships

Greenhill, Hannah

The Hannah M. Greenhill Scholarship should be awarded to a freshman student at UW-Eau Claire who must be a graduate of a high school in either Barron or Dunn counties, must be in the top quartile of their graduation class, and have financial need. For the sophomore year, the scholarship may be renewable for the recipient selected as a freshman, provided the student maintains a B+ average during the freshman year. Only one student a year will receive the scholarship, so if a student is renewed for the second year for the scholarship, no new recipient will be selected that year.

The general incoming freshmen scholarship application is available online at: www.uwec.edu/admissions/paying.htm. Admitted, eligible candidates are encouraged to apply. If you feel you meet the application requirements and cannot access the online application, please contact the Admissions Office at (715)836-5415.

The Admissions Office will coordinate the selection of recipients.

Screening of candidates will begin in December and continue through spring. Selections will be made no later than April 30.

The Office of Admissions will notify the scholarship recipient (and their high school counselors once an award is accepted.)

The recipient is encouraged to send a thank-you note to Hannah and Gaylon Greenhill in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, Schofield Hall 214.
