Foundation Scholarships

Germonprez Family Information Systems

Two scholarships will be awarded from this fund. Both scholarships shall be awarded to an outstanding women student majoring in Information Systems at UW-Eau Claire. The recipients shall have a minimum overall GPA of 3.00 and at least junior class standing at the time of receiving the scholarship. Students applying for this scholarship need to submit the following for consideration: letter of application, current unofficial UW-Eau Claire transcript and a biographical essay (500- 1,000 words) discussing honors received, work experience and extracurricular activities; in each section emphasize leadership and character. Email application to IS Scholarship Committee chair at ISscholarships@UWEC.edu.

Official notification will be sent to recipients by the IS Scholarship Committee Chair. The Chair will also complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.

This scholarship was established by the Germonprez Family from Neenah, WI. Donors include Matt Germonprez, a UW- Eau Claire IS faculty member who joined the department in 2005. The scholarship recognizes the family’s passion for lifelong learning and commitment to giving back to help others accomplish their educational goals.
