Foundation Scholarships

Delta Zeta

The recipient must be a UW-Eau Claire student who is a current Delta Zeta member who is in good standing and has a grade point average of 2.75 or higher. Preference will be given to a student with financial need.

The applicant must submit a written statement indicating why she thinks she should receive the scholarship. The statement should confirm that the applicant is a member in good standing who attends meetings, portrays the intended image of a Delta Zeta Sister, provides a leadership role for the sorority and shows kindness to non-Greek students. The application must be submitted to the mailbox of the faculty/staff adviser.

The deadline for the 2006-07 will be the last Friday in September but thereafter, it will be the first Monday in April.

A committee chaired by the Delta Zeta faculty/staff adviser will select the recipient based upon the criteria above. The recipient should be selected by October 13 for the first award. Thereafter, selection will be completed by the first Monday in May.

The recipient is expected to send a thank-you letter to Susan Perry in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, Inc. S-214.
