Although not precluded as recipients, the scholarship is not designed to reward the top academic achievers but rather students who are accepted at UW-Eau Claire, who have led active lives, worked hard, and have the potential for success in a university setting. Of particular interest to Mr. Danielson are students who have demonstrated an ability to pursue goals with a singular purpose despite distractions or adversity. The recipients should send a letter of appreciation to Mr. Norman C. Danielson in care of the UW- Eau Claire Foundation.
