The purpose of the scholarships is to encourage and support students at Boyceville schools who are graduates of Boyceville High School. Although not precluded as recipients, the scholarship is not designed to reward the top academic achievers but rather students who are accepted at UW-Eau Claire, who have led active lives, worked hard, and have the potential for success in a university setting. Of particular interest to Mr. Danielson are students who have demonstrated an ability to pursue goals with a singular purpose despite distractions or adversity. The recipients should send a letter of appreciation to Mr. Norman C. Danielson in care of the UW- Eau Claire Foundation.
