Blugold Beginnings - Everson, Terry

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Recipients must have successfully participated in the Blugold Beginnings pre-college access program and be recommended by one of the program directors/advisors/faculty. Recipients must be accepted to UW-Eau Claire and be enrolled as a student in good standing with the university and have financial need. The Blugold Beginnings program directors/advisors/faculty may require some of the recipients also to complete tutoring/mentoring activities during the year in which the award is made. The program directors/advisors/faculty will be responsible for monitoring the tutoring/mentoring activity and determining is the recipient has fulfilled his/her obligation. The scholarship is intended to be awarded annually to an incoming freshman who meets the award criteria. The scholarship is not intended to be renewed for the same student from year to year.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The Dean of Students Office will select the recipient.
NOTIFICATION:
The Dean of Students Office will notify the recipient and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to Financial Aid.
SPECIAL NOTES:
Terry Everson received his B.S. degree in psychology from UW-Eau Claire with a minor in history. He also completed a master’s degree and other graduate work at UW-Madison. A long-time Organizational/Leadership Development Executive, Terry currently serves as the Executive Director of Everson Consulting, LLC, located in Madison, Wisconsin, focusing on People Change Leadership in national and global business. Terry is a passionate Blugold committed to investing in future generations of UW-Eau Claire students. Recipient should write a letter of thanks to Terry Everson and forward it to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, S-214.
